Honest. Dependent. Disciplined.

Lawns are so much more than just grass. After having several deployments in dry and arid climates, living in the sand, coming back home, seeing pristine green grass, and the gardens full of color made us see just how beautiful America truly is.

We want every yard that we care to give the same feeling to you as did for us after returning home to this beautiful country we live in. We are based on honesty, loyalty, and pride.

FAQ’s

Q. Can I store unused fertilizer for use next year?

Yes, unused fertilizer can be stored and reused, provided the bag is closed correctly and stored in a dry place. If moisture gets in the bag, you may have to lump of the fertilizer, break up any clumps before placing it in the spreader.

Q. How often should I mow my lawn?

Mow when the grass is actively growing, and mow often enough, so you never cut more than one-third of the grass blade each time. For cool-season grasses, the peak time for top growth is in the spring, and you will need to cut it weekly at a minimum until the grass goes dormant in the heat of summer. Note that other brands of quick release fertilizers will provide a dose of nutrients to turf that cannot be immediately used by the grass plant and will result in excessive top growth. Excessive top growth will necessitate mowing multiple times a week.

Q. What is aerating or core aeration?

Aeration, which is also called core aeration, is the process of perforating the soil, as well as any thatch layer that may exist, removing a core or plug of soil and depositing that core on the surface to break down.

Q. What are some of the benefits of aeration?

(1) Aerating will allow water, air, and fertilizer to penetrate all the way down to the root zone. This, in turn, allows the roots to grow deeper, creating a healthier and thicker lawn.

(2) It will also significantly reduce the chances of having thatch buildup.

(3) Aeration will reduce soil compaction.

(4) If you plan to over seed, it will create an optimal environment for the direct seed to soil contact.
