A quick overview
Resell Rack is a fun way to thrift.
Resell Rack - Right Here! Right Now! was founded in April 2020 as an online resell-thrift marketplace amid COVID19. We have many like-new styles from your favorite brands at substantial retail savings. We make sure all of the new arrivals we add to the site everyday is 100% authentic and in such great shape anyone could mistake them as new. Knockoff prices but No Knockoffs. Search for high quality used women’s men’s and youth clothing, shoes, accessories and X-Tra’s from fashionable closets just like yours. Specially curated by our StyleFixxMe team. Our platform is recycled, resell, reuse, repurpose clothing, shoes, accessories, and X-tras and resell at an affordable cost. We believe repurposing clothing extends the life or give clothes a new experience through donation is our emphasis. There are many ways to reuse clothing to save money, such as borrowing, sharing, swapping, or renting instead of purchasing for every special event.
We provide resell opportunities for independent contractors who earn residual income working from home. Sellers create a profile; we contact them through email with information on how to begin the consignment process. If you’re a buyer/shopper just interested in donating, we email you on how to mail or drop off items no more than 20 lbs. Resell Rack will donate $5 to Feeding America on your behalf for your support.
The primary source of textiles in municipal solid waste (MSW) is discarded clothing. However, other smaller sources include furniture, carpets, tires, footwear, and other nondurable goods such as sheets and towels. There also is data specific to clothing and footwear and towels, sheets, and pillowcases: www.epa.gov/facts-and-figures and material waste.
The EPA measured the generation, recycling, composting, combustion with energy recovery and landfilling of textile material in MSW. Research data suggests clothing put into the garbage end up in landfills, taking up valuable space, releasing greenhouse gases contributing to climate change. Clothing manufacturing has a significant environmental impact on the raw materials, and energy used creates pollution in the process. That’s why repurposing clothing extends their life. We recommend to shop consciously, buy what you need and look for clothing that’s high in quality.
This moment in history is a way for small and large businesses, individuals, and families to come together as one restore hope by sharing our resources with those who are significantly impacted by the loss of essential resources. Your donation is a solution that will allow us together to focus on fulfilling a mission and help those affected considerably by the loss while building a good reputation in the communities in which we serve.
Solutions consumers should consider: Repair or recycle clothing to extend its sustainability Reuse clothing fabrics creating new designs Purchase resell clothing and accessories at thrift stores, and garage sales can save money Take your unwanted clothing to retailers who have buyback programs Donate reusable and new items to charity or to Resell Rack
