CDA’S HISTORY

Since 2002, America’s Classical Dance Alliance, Inc. a New York City based 501 (c) (3) nonprofit has brought world-class experts directly to the ballet and dance community. CDA produced teacher’s courses, the International Youth Ballet Festival, and taught America’s first Character Dance and Historical Dance teacher’s courses held at the Baryshnikov Arts Center.

In 1969, Vera Kostrovitskaya wrote a Six Year syllabus for the Vaganova Academic Choreographic School in Leningrad.
