Ajang Alaak Foundation
The Ajang Alaak Foundation is an Australian based non-profit organization founded to fulfill Ajang Alaak’s lifelong vision of liberation through education. Mr. Alaak fervently believed ‘the pen is mightier than the gun’ as articulated in his popular memoir – Father of the Lost Boys. The Ajang Alaak Foundation aims to help South Sudanese and other vulnerable students achieve academic and career aspirations in Australia.
The Foundation also seeks to promote educational excellence in South Sudan, with an emphasis on the education of girls, as well as to provide financial support to schools in refugee camps housing South Sudanese.
